Celebrating Tea-lation!’s 3rd Bday (Aug 28, 2022) With Support For the NFCR (National Foundation For Cancer Research)

Still trying to catch my breath after a whirlwind of work and my sincerest apologies for being late, but fashionably (also preparing for my first year of fashion weeks in Winston-Salem, Greensboro, and Chicago with US Sustainable Fashion week, as a model and jewelry designer). But, looking forward to sharing more about our festive fall TL! tea blends and other tea-related topics you can get Tea-lated! about!

In the meantime, I wanted to reflect (in hindsight) on our 3rd birthday celebration for Tea-lation! that we enjoyed on a sunny summer Sunday, Aug 28th at the LP – Liberty Plaza (102 W. Third St.), during the outdoor market with local vendors, LIVE music and more. We were joined by friends, old and new, and I’m looking forward to hopefully teaming up with Reagan from Adapted Healing and Salem from Sibling Farms soon. I was happy and honored to fair trade TL! Teas for beautiful bouquet of blooms, farm fresh produce, pure products and more! Also, special thanks to TL! sponsor, Richard Phillips, who helped out and celebrated with us and to Zachary Mccraw for coordinating everything and making us all feel welcome and special.

Now, in moving forward, with inspiration, insights, and impact, I hope to creatively contribute and give back to improve lives and also the environment in our local community and beyond. So, after an honest assessment, it’s not yet possible for this to be financially feasible, but the ultimate goal is to support worthy causes from TL! sales and with TL! teas.

I am in the process of applying for financial support with grants, so I’ll keep you posted. It’s not easy juggling everything yourself, primarily, but I’m doing the best I can. And, as a benchmark, I’ve handbagged a couple thousand teabags and am still busy bagging, but will be thankful to have some employees when I can afford to hire them to help with production and other aspects of this business. As a general rule though, the more we earn, the more we will get to give back, so please stay Tea-lated! We are grateful for your support and encouragement.

Will do what we can to start helping out, though, and more specifically, I am proud to donate proceeds from our tea sales and etc. to noble and honorable organizations like the NFCR (National Foundation For Cancer Research) that directly funds the scientists and medical researchers, committed to cures for cancer.

In the past several months, I’ve been supporting the NFCR with my 8th album, Flyin On, which you can share, stream, and download here, with Part 1 and Part 2. I’m also a singer/songwriter/musician with a musical mission and you can stay in touch and find more updates here on my Facebook Music Page.

Here’s more info in my music blog post on extending the deadline for this special recording project that’s a creative contribution as part of my musical mission, an article in FW (Forsyth Woman) and more details in this blog article in the NFCR blog.

Happy Fall, y’all! Thanks always for your support and encouragement.

Please stay Tea-lated!
